Veterans Fight to Keep 75-yr. old Mojave Desert Memorial cross

Assisting Vietnam Veteran in need. Early on April 16th we received information of a veteran in need of assistance as he suddenly had been cut off of his disability which placed him in dyer need of assistance, a call was put out to members of Chapter 975 for food staples to be brought to the meeting being held that night. By the time of the meeting food had been gathered and provided to them at the meeting which they attended. They were very appreciative of the food contributed for their survival until the VSO could find out the problem and try to re-establish the benefits.

Pictured are Gene Crego and Ralph McKie after presenting the food to the Veteran.

One of Kingman's finest has been injured in Iraq and his wife has asked for our help. He is now in Fort Knox, Ky. and will be there till his injuries have healed. If we all could send him a bunch of get well cards that would be great. Some of you may know Art, we did a ride for him before he left for the sandbox.

His address is:

S.F.C. ARTHUR JONES
B-4TH-WTB-BLDG
1475 KNOX ST
FORT KNOX KY 40121

Lets show our support and make this happen.

You may not support the war, but the men

and women who are fighting for our freedom deserve our support.

if nothing else just say thanks!

Any time you want to say thanks to a warrior you will need to send your letter or card to the American Red Cross, ( any office in the US) for delivery to Walter Reed Hospital in Washington D. C. . I just learned that any mail sent to the hospital directly will be rejected and returned to  sender, this information was given to me by Walter Reed Hospital staff directly 01/16/2009....
